Foundations of Your Job
You will be the main designer in the team who will set up the most complex models and take on the most challenging designs. You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to work alongside a number of specialists. An exceptional draftsman will not only demonstrate impeccable attention to detail but also possess a deep understanding of the discipline they draft for. A glimpse of your responsibilities:
Translating client requests into ingenious designs
Developing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, designs, and models for various engineering designs.
Acting as a sparring partner for all Designers (and Engineers) in your team
Safeguarding the quality of technical designs while focusing on manufacturability and the use of drafting standards
Designing offshore equipment, monopile gripper, sea fastening, secondary steel installation tools, and lifting tools.
Developing your knowledge of technical topics and sharing this knowledge with the team
Collaborating with engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate drafts.
Modifying existing drawings and plans as needed to accommodate changes in design or scope.
Ensuring designs and drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Acting as a drawing manager by setting up and maintaining the 2D and 3D drawing structures for complex designs.
Performing geometrical studies in Autocad and Inventor

You are an expert in the creative design of structures and equipment from concept to detail using 2D and 3D modeling software, very high level with Inventor. Your enthusiasm, eye for detail, and troubleshooting abilities drive the design process efficiently and proactively. Your natural inclination towards mentoring others enriches the team’s collective expertise. You are a creative, passionate, quick learner and have strong technical insight. You are a good communicator who likes collaborative work, which makes you excel as a team player. You are self-driven, responsible, and committed to getting the job done.
You are the perfect match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:
You have 3-4 years of working experience as a Design Engineer or Drafter.
You have a strong level of knowledge and experience working with Inventor
Experience Designing offshore equipment, monopile grippers, sea fastening, secondary steel installation tools, lifting tools
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering
Industrial Design Engineering
