Tailored Monopile Gripper – Innovation
At TWD, we designed the innovative “Pendulum Design” monopile gripper for DEME’s Innovation vessel, improving accuracy and efficiency in monopile installation. By creating lightweight, high-stiffness solutions, we contributed to smoother offshore wind operations—key to advancing renewable energy and driving the energy transition forward.
Seafastening Structures for Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm
With local support from the Taiwan office, TWD contributed designed tailored seafastening structures for the "WTIV Blue Wind", a jack-up vessel used for monopile installations. This vessel is now equipped to install large-scale offshore wind turbines, contributing to Japan's renewable energy goals.
Hai Long Pre-Pilling Template
We designed the largest pre-piling template in the industry for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Farm. This self-leveling template ensures precise pile placement on the seabed, overcoming complex challenges in harsh marine environments. Once operational, the 1 GW Hai Long project is expected to power over one million Taiwanese households.
