Job description

Are you ready to bring AI-powered solutions to engineering and design and keep TWD a technological frontrunner? Do you enjoy working with innovative technologies and like to lead projects? Do you have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a sense of responsibility? If the answer is yes, then we are looking for you!

Foundations of Your Job

As an AI Engineer at TWD, you join our Software Engineering team (8 FTE) to build the AI solutions that will reshape our engineering and design projects in Offshore Wind and Heavy Civils. You will pioneer how AI can best be used inside TWD and inspire engineers and designers to work with it.

Your day-to-day work covers:

  • Select and evaluate language models and integrate them via APIs, SDKs and MCPs

  • Create fine-tuned and RAG models based on TWD's engineering and design data

  • Build self-learning and agentic systems that improve with use

  • Translate user needs into working AI features

  • Bring engineers and designers along by giving demos and collecting feedback

  • Stay current with the AI landscape and bring new techniques to the team

You own AI projects end-to-end: from scoping through prototyping and development, to deployment, adoption and iteration.

What Makes You Great

As an AI Software Engineer at TWD, you are a passionate, quick learner with strong technical insight. You enjoy solving real engineering problems with AI, not just building AI for its own sake. You like to collaborate, communicate clearly, and you bring others along with your enthusiasm. • Experience working in the Microsoft environment with Azure is preferred

  • Affinity with engineering and design challenges is a plus
