Foundations of Your Job
As a Project Field Engineer within the Construction Team at TWD, you'll play a key role in bringing our innovative designs to life. From conducting site visits and meeting with clients to overseeing implementation, you'll have the chance to truly own your work and see its impact.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experts from a variety of disciplines, not just mechanical engineering. You’ll be part of expanding TWD’s offering into new technical areas—gaining exposure, learning, and growing along the way. Your input will shape important project decisions and directly contribute to our clients’ success.
You’ll be involved in planning and managing your project scope, including timelines and budgets. Experience in-field or with fabrication engineering is a plus, but we also welcome candidates with other engineering backgrounds who are curious, hands-on, and eager to learn.
To help you succeed, you’ll start by working closely with one of our experienced Project Field Engineers. From there, you’ll grow into leading scopes independently or as part of a team—always with the support you need to thrive.
As a Project Field Engineer, your role is varied, hands-on, and impactful. You’ll play a crucial part in both technical execution and project delivery. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect:

Share your expertise by supporting and guiding Engineers and Designers in their technical work.
Contribute to a learning culture by mentoring team members and offering hands-on workshops.
Communicate regularly with clients, providing progress updates and addressing technical queries.
Project Management & Execution:
Take full ownership of the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of your assigned scope.
Oversee risk management, issue tracking, and resolution of project challenges.
Manage the execution of fabrication scopes—whether in-house designs or those involving subcontractors.
Conduct and attend key inspections, such as stage reviews, Load Tests, FATs, and SATs.
Review engineering deliverables and QA/QC documentation to ensure they meet all project requirements.
Support internal resource planning and contribute to project team efficiency.
Monitor fabrication schedules and drive progress to keep everything on track.
Prepare and manage orders with confidence and clarity.
What Makes You Great
You’re energized by project management and bring a solid technical background to everything you do. Whether you're on-site or in the office, you're someone who enjoys taking ownership and seeing a project through from concept to completion.
You’re a strong communicator, with a collaborative mindset, and a creative approach to solving challenges, you thrive in environments where flexibility, ingenuity, and initiative are valued. You’re driven, proactive, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
You’ll Be a Great Fit at TWD If You Bring:
