Foundations of Your Job
As a graduation student at TWD, you will perform research on fatigue, which is relevant for most of our projects. We are currently looking for a graduation student to set up a simplified fatigue approach for wind turbine and monopile transport.
A glimpse of your project goals:
Setup the motion/cycle methodology
Setup of the stress methodology
Relating the stochastic damage to the simplified approach to determine the equivalent Weibull factor

As a Graduation student at TWD, you are a passionate, quick learner and have strong technical insight. You like to collaborate, and you are a good communicator, which makes you excel during your graduation. With using your enthusiasm and experience as a problem-solver, you come up with ingenious solutions. You are self-driven, responsible, and committed to get the job done. It’s a big pro if you have taken courses in (wave) statistics, vessel motions and/or fatigue.
Additionally, you are doing a master study in a technical field, including but not limited to:
Offshore Engineering
Hydraulic Engineering
Marine Technology
