Foundations of Your Job

As a Marine Engineer, you turn client requests into effective installation methods and conceptual designs for offshore projects.

You leverage deep knowledge of marine dynamics and practical operations to develop solutions that are both innovative and

workable at sea. You deliver high-quality engineering results that meet client specifications while respecting deadlines and

budgets. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you ensure smooth execution and constantly seek ways to improve

methods and tools for greater efficiency and innovation.

 

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Leading the execution of marine engineering projects, ensuring technical integrity, safety, and delivery within time and budget

  • Setting up, managing, and tracking project scopes, risks, and progress to meet overall project planning

  • Collaborating closely with marine and structural engineers to align designs, methods, and calculations

  • Performing and safeguarding technical quality through reviews of calculations, models in Orcaflex and Python, drawings, and reports

  • Acting as the marine point of contact for clients, translating analyses into practical solutions and identifying opportunities for added value

You have at least 2 years of experience working as a Marine Engineer. Additionally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:

  • Marine Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Offshore Engineering

Working at TWD includes:

  • A salary starting from € 3,800 gross per month, depending on your experience

  • 8% holiday allowance per year
