
Job description
As a Project Designer at TWD, your primary goal is to deliver innovative solutions while overseeing the design process. You are responsible for guiding and supervising Designers and Engineers, ensuring technical excellence and maintaining high-quality standards.
In this role, you translate client requests into effective engineering designs and solutions, independently develop and execute complex 3D models and 2D drawings, and safeguard the quality and timely delivery of all design outputs.
Additionally, you play a key role in mentoring and increasing the technical knowledge of Designers and Engineers while fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.
Responsibilities
Execute quality agreements within projects, including setting up quality plans and documentation, in cooperation with Project Responsible
Perform quality checks and ensure the quality assurance of deliverables from all designers within the project, deliver quality documentation and quality control of deliverables
Perform evaluations and retrospectives
Determining, executing and interpreting of engineering methods within project (using correct and smart approach)
Keeping overview of link between calculations and drawings
Stimulating creativity by acting as sparring partner for project members
Prepare for- and discuss technical challenges and define/improve engineering agreements with Technical Advisors and Lead Engineers.
Engage in continuous self-development and contribute to the development of others.
Qualifications (Education and Technical knowledge/expertise)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
Solid working experience within complex projects, working experience leading complex projects.
Skilled in using relevant drafting tools.
Deep Engineering Knowledge, with a strong foundation in engineering principles, analysis, and problem-solving.
