TWD Marine Civils in Action
Dinish Wharf: Adaptive Circular Template
In County Cork, Ireland, TWD introduced a modular, circular guide to install five cell walls for the Dinish Wharf expansion. Easily assembled on a barge, the template adapts to varying water depths and cell diameters, turning a typically lengthy marine construction process into a swift, precision-driven operation. Each step was approached as a new challenge—showcasing how quick thinking and clever design can reshape coastal environments.

Belle Greve Outfall: Quick Overhaul
With just two weeks to finalize the concept and four weeks to fabricate, TWD teamed up with Van Oord to overhaul outdated wastewater outfalls off Guernsey’s coast. By creating a custom work platform using modular pontoons connected by truss frames, the crew quickly assembled 500-meter pipe sections and secured them with concrete collars. With agility and creative problem-solving, the team proved how an efficient, hands-on approach can meet critical infrastructure needs without missing a beat.

LNG Jetty: Smart, Swift Construction
Tasked with building a 2,450-meter LNG jetty, TWD partnered with BAM International to develop a cantilever bridge supported on temporary spud units. This innovative setup drove piles, installed headstocks, and laid concrete roadways at a unique pace for a large-scale projects. The key was an easily advanced bridge structure, complete with 1.8-meter-high box beams that provided both strength and adaptability. By redefining how major jetties can be built, the method went on to influence similarly ambitious projects across Australia.
