Job description

Are you a student who loves Python and engineering? Do you enjoy building solutions that combine software development and engineering expertise to solve real-world challenges? Are you eager to gain valuable experience and develop skills for your future career? If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Foundations of Your Job

As a student programmer in our Software Engineering team, you will help build the digital foundation for smarter engineering at TWD. You will work on real engineering projects where Python, automation, and practical engineering knowledge come together. You will learn to use our Python-based engineering platform, write reliable and efficient code, test and debug your work, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers. You will take end-to-end responsibility for implementing new features and updating or creating calculation templates. You'll also have the chance to contribute to innovative solutions and explore the latest AI technologies.

Whether you're seeking a part-time role or an internship, or a graduation project, we have an opportunity tailored for you. You'll be based at our office in Rotterdam, collaborating closely with the Software Engineering team in a supportive and friendly work environment.

What Makes You Great

We're searching for motivated and talented students who want to join our Software Engineering team as working students, interns, or graduation students.

  • You have a technical background such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent and are enthusiastic about software development.

  • You have hands-on experience with Python, for example through study projects, personal projects, or previous work.

  • Experience working with repositories, pipelines, and pull requests is a plus.

We have many ideas for improvements, AI integrations, and new features, and we are looking for someone who is eager to help us bring them to life.
