Foundations Of Your Job
As part of the Lab team, we work on the practical side of the designs we develop. We are testing friction, coating damage and other material properties, giving direct input into our designs and proposing design optimizations. This is where engineering theory meets hands – on practice.
You will work across a wide variety of designs building your skills quickly, and as you grow into the role you may also get the chance to liaise directly with clients.

You are hands-on and practical, with a natural curiosity about how things work in real life, not just on paper. You are a quick learner who is not afraid to get involved, and you take ownership of the tasks in front of you.
You are the perfect match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:
A hands-on, practical mindset;
Basic knowledge of Excel;
Approaching the end of your bachelor’s degree or in the early stages of your master’s, for example in:
Civil engineering
Mechanical engineering
Offshore engineering
Marine engineering
